Stanwell is a Queensland Government-owned corporation delivering affordable, reliable and sustainable electricity to Queensland and the National Electricity Market. We provide a significant proportion of Queensland’s electricity, supporting system stability and enabling prosperity of the State’s economy, industries and communities. With more than 40 years’ of operational experience, Stanwell has established capability in owning, operating and maintaining energy generation assets that support reliable energy for today. We continue to invest in the assets that support Queensland's energy needs now, while partnering with the private sector and Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) to develop the energy portfolio Queensland needs for the future. Through this work, Stanwell is delivering affordable, reliable and sustainable electricity for the State.
